You will never really be ready to take that leap. There will always be reasons why the decision of moving forward is not a good one. We are born with a fear of the unknown and prefer to stay in our comfort zone instead of taking a risk. But that is what differentiates people that do versus people that wish they could. Don’t get me wrong, that does not mean you just jump into something without carefully doing your homework and making solid choices.
But something happens during this process. You get all of the information you need, and it feels right. Yet, you stand on the edge and just freeze! What makes it so difficult to take that leap? We know where to begin and we know what we think will happen but there is still the question, “what if it doesn’t work?”
When I started FABWOMEN, I was driven by the passion and vision of empowering women in all aspects of their life, not just professionally. While that was a good start, in order to grow and move forward I needed a plan, effective systems and a supportive team to carry out my vision. As entrepreneurs we think we can do everything ourselves; the truth is, that might be what is holding you back from success. We wear all the hats in the business from CEO, bookkeeper, marketer, sales etc. If you think about it, you are probably not good at all those things and the division of your time is taking you away from your natural gifts. The common excuse is, “I can’t afford to hire someone”, when really you might not be able to afford not hiring someone.
Starting is always easy.
Growing and sustaining your business is where the challenge comes in.
Start with a vision, surround yourself with people that support you and believe in your vision and take that leap. #smallbusiness #inspiration #motivation Share on XI promise, you will feel like flying. Remember, the leap does not have to be a big one. It can be many small leaps that get you where you are meant to be. As I grow FABWOMEN, I am now taking the next leap which is establishing Shanna K LLC. I did this because I have seen how to grow our business we need to have a clear message, and idea of what to say and where to go to market appropriately and in turn grow our income. Yes, here I am taking the next step towards fulfilling my vision of impacting women’s lives for the better. If I can do it, I know you can as well.
